Youth and Employment : Present day’s govt machinery and diverse establishments conduct the interviews of the struggling youth after that they cancel the recruitments. In most of the cases the funds collected as fee is not returned to the candidates. It is becoming the major irritant for the present-day youth belonging to the different strata of the society. Policy interventions are required to encounter Fake recruitments in academic universities.In case of the Himachal Pradesh since, more than a decade Class I gazetted officers are recruited on contract basis by the service commissions despite candidates possessing excellent qualifications on petty salaries. The qualification of a candidate is of least consideration and talent of the youth is being dumped in garbage. Improving educational infrastructure and accessibility by the rural youth will be my first priority. Regaining the trust of rural youth towards education is the present day’s challenge. Education :Education Sector Reforms in the education sector is one of the areas where we need to focus, the age-old subjects under the curriculum requires attention. The science-based courses must include at least one subject related to the social sciences in order to sensitize the science-based students towards the social ailments. Even enforcement of such courses must be made mandatory for professional BTech or MTech courses. Vocational courses at school and university levels will be boosted so that student with rural background can orient themselves about the self-employment generation opportunities if they can pursue higher studies. One of such potential vocational course will be on Food processing techniques, this course will find its place in the curriculum at the higher secondary level. An university with the mandate of developing food processing technology and its other aspects will we established to provide forward link to the progressive orchardists and farmers of the horticulture state Himachal Pradesh. Women Empowerment: Women empowerment will be focused strongly in various policies . Health Sector :Next comes the Health sector which is completely neglected by the past governments, if we look at the availability of the doctors in the government hospitals and the hygiene in the hospitals. This just flashes the vulnerable condition of hospitals; even rural people have to struggle for having life support facilities like oxygen cylinder in the hospitals. I never saw such issues being addressed by any of the govt who ruled Himachal Pradesh. Only few persons from well to do families can afford their medical treatment from the big private hospitals. Mobile hospitals could be launched with the weekly frequency of their visits to the rural corners of the hill state. Ambulance buses will be launched to take the referred hospitalised cases from villages to the district headquarters and from there to the competent hospitals within the diameter of 100-200 kms. Partnerships between the government hospitals and the multi-speciality hospitals will be set up for their support in case govt. establishments become weak due to administrative hiccups. Public Transport: Public transport is the lifeline of the people in the Himalayan state with rudimentary accessibility to the remote areas. Buses are not modernized as the time passed by not even buses with amenities are upgraded. Old buses which have completed their life will not be tolerated at all and will be scrapped for the safety of the citizens of the hill state. New upgraded buses with high efficiency will be brought in the public transportation squad. Time bound services to the citizens will we enforced. Law and Order and Corruption: Law and order has deteriorated as Himalayan state has got good accessibility to anti- social elements the small peaceful hamlets of Himachal very easily. Highway patrolling and patrolling at the village level will be enforced strictly so that Himachal should not become a crime capital. Corruption and its manifestation will be stringently nipped by the strict policy intervention.
