Manifesto
Manifesto 1. To start a new political party with only aim to have CLEAN POLITICS and only purpose to SERVE NATION AND ITS CITIZENS. This is most important manifesto. Unless this is achieved, all other manifesto remains only promises. I am confident that this can be achieved. Some of the ways to achieve this is as below Party must have clean Supporters, cleaner Party Members and cleanest MLA and MP. Supporter - Anyone can become supporter of the party. No formalities required to support party. Party Member - To become member of the party, person needs to apply for membership of the party in prescribed format which will have short question which needs to be replied with YES / NO. After scrutiny of this form party will be able to know why someone wants to join this party. Person who is applying for Party Membership will be aware that if his/her intention is to get person benefit by becoming member of the party, he/she will not be admitted as a member of the party. Only purpose to join Party should be to serve nation and its citizens without any personal gain. Party Member must be able to devote 5-6 hours a week in his/her locality to understand citizen's issue and try to get it resolved at the earliest. MP/MLA - To get party ticket to contest election for MP/MLA, most important condition will be person should be party member for minimum 3 years. If person has joined from another political party, that person can not contest election on party ticket for first 6 years. This is to make sure that person from other party is not joining only to contest election on party ticket. Once person is MP/MLA, he cannot work as an employee or do any business/profession during his tenure of MP/MLA. This is because I believe that serving people is full time job. Only source of income during this tenure will be Salary and Allowances receivable by him as an MP/MLA and Fixed Interest income on Investment. His/her accounts, investments and income will get audited every year by Chartered Accountant appointed by opposition party. His/her family member cannot start new business once person has been given party ticket to contest election of MP/MLA. Family = (his/her and his/her spouse’s lineal ascendant and descendant. Clean Donation - Similarly, donation to party is also needs to be clean. To achieve this few ways are as below. 1. No Cash Donation accepted 2. Donation from individual person only 3. No Donation from Company/Partnership Firms etc 4. One individual can contribute only up to Rs. 1,500 per month only 5. Donations which are received but not matching with all above criteria should be transferred to Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund at the end of each month Above are just few ways. I have many ways and ideas to achieve this. Manifesto 2. Fix the responsibility – We will fix the responsibility of each and every department and action to be taken in case it is found that work is not done as per allotted responsibility. For example, if it is decided that garbage needs to be picked on daily basis and it is not picked up. Manifesto 3. Safe and Pothole free Roads – Every citizen has right to have Safe and Pothole free roads. At every 100 meters we will put the details of agency name and contact number who is responsible to maintain that road. Every call made to that number will generate ticket number. In ideal scenario there should not be any call on that number but in case any call has been made, same ticket needs to be closed in 12 hours’ time. Only person who has right to close the ticket is person who has made complaint. If repairing is not done within 12 hours there will be penalty of Rs. 10,000 per hour that will be recovered from person/agency responsible to maintain road. 10% will go to the person made complain and balance 90% to government treasury. Manifesto 4. Promote Public Transport and De-motivate private vehicles – I am of the view that to avoid congestion and pollution, only way is to provide very good Public Transport Services. Once you have excellent public transport services, people will start using it and will automatically get de-motivated to use private vehicles. One such project in my constituency is Metro from Ulhasnagar – Kalyan – Dombivali – Katai Naka – Palava – Kalyan Phata – Shil Phata – Mhape – Ghansoli – Vikhroli. This will be very useful as people can change at Vikhroli and use Central Line or use another metro from Vikhroli to go towards Western Line. Manifesto 5. Cleanliness and Beautification of Desai Khadi and other Khadis in Kalyan Constituency - I am well aware of the lack of cleanliness of Desai Khadi. I must say it is one of the dirtiest places I have seen/smelled in Kalyan or say MMRDA region. This needs urgent attention. Manifesto 6. Cleanliness of surroundings of roads - I am well aware that garbage is dumped on side of many main roads and internal roads. This also needs urgent attention. As I mentioned earlier 1st Manifesto is most important. Unless it is achieved, it is difficult to achieve other manifestos. Many thanks for reading this.
